I am cold working today and tomorrow in a friend/fellow artist studio and team member Dennis McCloud is finishing and inventing new wood parts as needed. The Turtle Dance continues!
Staging the Cycle of Life Sculpture Day One
Yesterday was Day One in staging the Cycle of Life Sculpture. What needs to be trimmed, cold worked, wood corner plates made and miscellaneous - do I/we want to do it this way....or will this actually work better. I initially put this part in the drawing here - but I think I am going to put it there in the finished sculpture.
(The sea turtle nest is laying on top of the base. A hole will be cut to insert the nest into the base and it will be filled with cast class sea turtle eggs.)
