I rotate working on projects. Helps to walk away and ponder on the next step in any piece. First images are more of the tiny critters that will be in the coral reef commission. Banded coral shrimp, Commerson’s Frog Fish, Christmas Tree Worm and Red Striped Pipe Fish. Next is the Black Lab with a layer added fired face up and then a detail of her face. All the fuzziness will not show once the “parts” are encased in the final artwork. I have been making more sea horse trays/other trays – mostly to keep the studio warm instead of running a big blower furnace in my studio space. Last image is of four trays and two bobcat Scattertrack ornaments, turned over after their first firing face down. The trays will have two more firings and the ornaments one more.
