Progress on the commissions intermixed with cast glass hatchlings and the never ending book work! The yellow Cushion star has joined the Coral Banded Shrimp in a holding pattern in my littlest kiln. The Red Pencil Urchin is progressing. After it is finished I will do the Tiger Cowrie and then I will fire these four small ocean critters, part of my coral reef commission. Shown next is the second grouping of the rocks and a piece of driftwood in the black lab commission. A section of hills that sits across the ocean bay is on the right side of the kiln shelf. The first wind breaker did not pass my color inspection so another one is started. All yet need to be backed by more opal and clear. If there is not enough definition in the first firing face down another layer will be added and the sections will be fired face up.
