I do play hooky from my studio once in awhile! It does usually involve wildlife. Tuesday morning I was part of a small group from the Bitterroot Audubon that got to observe a banding station for song birds, being run by a three person team from the University of Montana Bird Ecology Lab. Location MPG Ranch out of Florence, MT. A marvel to see the operation and logging of data that goes into a greater data base and teaches us more about each species. These birds are so beautiful.
